Letter to Governor Whitmer urging her to reconsider Livingston County's MERC region

On Monday, May 4, 2020, I mailed following letter to Governor Gretchen Whitmer urging her to reconsider the new MERC Regions and realign them with the previous Emergency Preparedness Regions.

The MERC boundaries, as outlined in her administration's plan align Livingston County with Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, Monroe, Genesee, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties. These new boundaries will create burdensome and unnecessary economic consequences for our county, its job providers, and its families.
