Support Swells for Reckling's Campaign

Seventy-two hours after filing for state representative, the campaign team for Meghan Reckling is pleased to announce that they have over $16,000 cash on hand from more than 60 donors.
Travis Porta, a member of Reckling’s finance team, said “Meghan is a powerhouse and has always been there for people of Livingston county. Clearly, to have raised this much money, in such a short period of time, demonstrates her broad base of support from all walks of life.”
“People have not only expressed their support for our campaign, but they have reached into their pockets - at a time when that’s not easy to do - and that is truly humbling,” Reckling said.
The familiar face in Republican political circles filed for the 47th state house district on Tuesday afternoon. The 47th district includes the Livingston County village of Fowlerville, the townships of Conway, Cohoctah, Deerfield, Hartland, Howell, Handy, Iosco, Unadilla, Oceola, Marion, and Tyrone; the city of Howell and part of the city of Fenton. Current State Representative Hank Vaupel is term-limited and cannot seek re-election.
